To achieve the desired impact for children, the Child Friendly County budgets project implemented in five counties began by training both the rights holders, and duty bearers to understand the rights of children and how to provide for them in budget planning, disbursement and utilization of funds. This booklet highlights some of the strategies and activities which have contributed greatly to the realization of positive results for both children and duty bearers in the communities where the project has been implemented.
